The Irish Patents Office will host the next “Building a Business on Your Ideas” seminar in the Nimbus Building Cork Institute of Technology on Thursday 26th January 2012. These seminars are aimed at the ‘small business’ community, entrepreneurs & inventors and are organised by the Patents Office, in cooperation with The Enterprise Europe Network, Enterprise Ireland, the County Enterprise Boards and the Cork Institute of Technology.
The seminars will focus on:-
- how business should be aware of and can exploit the value of Intellectual Property (Patents, Trade Marks, Designs and Copyright) and
- the support structures that are available for small businesses and start-ups from the State and Europe.
Expert speakers from the private sector will include a Patent Attorney, a representative from a company named ‘Technology from Ideas’, a representative from the Industry, Research and Development Group, a local entrepreneur and an expert on branding.
Speakers from the public sector will include representatives from the Patents Office, Enterprise Ireland, County Enterprise Boards, the Enterprise Europe Network and the local Institute of Technology.
