Kara Stingo, founder of The Smart Cookie by Stingo’s Sweets LLC. The Smart Cookie is a small-batch care package service for college students, delivering handmade cookie gifts designed to brighten their day and ease the feeling of homesickness. Kara originally trained as a pastry chef before going on to earn a master’s degree in business. With encouragement from Endicott College, she was inspired to put her entrepreneurial skills into practice by taking part in the Student Inc. programme.
Reflecting on her experience, Kara shared:
‘Student Inc. is truly a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity! The connections, the friendships you make along the way and of course, the growth of your business… you put in the work and will get great results’.
