Starting a business is never a straight path, it’s a journey filled with challenges, learning, and growth. At The Rubicon Centre, the Enterprise Ireland New Frontiers Programme guides ambitious entrepreneurs through this journey.

As we approach the end of programme Showcase on Monday, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the journey so far and celebrate the progress of the latest cohort. This year’s New Frontiers cohort is made up of a diverse group of entrepreneurs, each bringing a unique idea to life.

  • Aoife Goulding founder of Kookease.
  • Diarmuid Duggan founder of Triple Edge Energy.
  • Diego Navarra and Iarlaith Crewe founders of Quartz Pay.
  • Lavanya Bhandari founder of Eco Roots
  • Lucy Lehane founder of All You Knead.ie
  • Mairead Maher founder of Boots2Base
  • Marc O Donovan Wyatt founder of Genni
  • Micheal Noonan founder of The Noonan Method
  • Paul Murphy founder of The Mindful Maker
  • Reece Hogan founder of A. Chara
  • Robin Thomas founder of Tower Watch
  • Sadbh Cosgrove founder of alternative Christmas pudding
  • Sam O Neill founder of Row Teic
  • Sinead Mellett founder of The Natural Vet Co.
  • Zuhri Ajibola founder of Zhy Bio Technologies

The New Frontiers Showcase marks an important milestone. This event is an opportunity for participants to present their businesses and show how their business has developed over the last six months and to share their journey and vision with the wider start-up community including the Local Enterprise Offices, Enterprise Ireland and Axis BIC as well as the many mentors and trainers who provide invaluable support and insight along the way.

The journey through New Frontiers is just the beginning for these founders. The skills, networks, and experiences gained will continue to shape the futures of these entrepreneurs long after the programme ends. As they take their products to market and make an impact in their sectors, The Rubicon Centre remains a hub of innovation, fostering the next wave of business leaders.

The New Frontiers Programme is not just about business—it’s about people. Here’s what one of our participants had to say about their experience:

I wanted to join New Frontiers to give myself the space for my business to develop and grow. Since starting my confidence has increased, there is more known then unknown and that has given me the confidence to move forward. The most valuable lesson I have learnt is the importance of marketing strategies and being able to communicate a story to consumers. If I had to describe New Frontiers in three words they would be, Accelerating, inspiring, grounding’.

We wish the cohort of 2024 much success in the coming years and we look forward to seeing what is to come.
