The founders came together from a wide range of backgrounds to make their ideas a reality at the MTU’s Rubicon Centre using the wrap around supports of  New Frontiers Phase 2 to accelerate their business ventures.

Benefitting from 1:1 mentoring, expert-led workshops, equity free seed-funding of €15,000, office space in the incubator, the participants were equipped with resources to facilitate the growth of their ventures in the years ahead. Amongst the many group activities, the start-up founders had the opportunity to pitch to Angel Investors in Ireland and the USA, Mentor Panels, Enterprise Ireland and LEOs.

Already 9 of the 15 participants have achieved their first sale, and a number are discussing funding options with Angel Investors, LEOs, and Enterprise Ireland. The full-time 6 month programme equips ambitious founders with the right connections, the right skills, and the right route to capital to build a successful and sustainable start-up business.

As participants and stakeholders gathered at MTU , they were welcomed by Paula Carroll, New Frontiers National Programme Manager, at Enterprise Ireland. Congratulating them on their success and thanking all those who collaborated with them over the last six months, she encouraged them to continue to develop and use the New Frontiers networks in the years ahead.

Aoife Mc Inerney, New Frontiers Programme Manager, MTU, announced the New Frontiers Best Business Opportunity 2024, won by Elvis Seporaitis founder of-  Volta Robotics, and Best Pitch Award, won by Paula McGovern founder of- Wizard and Grace Candles.
