This week marked the end of a bittersweet chapter here at the Rubicon Centre, as we said farewell to such an inspiring alumnus, Swyft Energy.
Swyft Energy’s journey began right here through Enterprise Ireland’s New Frontiers Programme. Over eight years ago, Joe Freyn and Adrian Casey walked through our doors with a strong idea, passion, and the ambition to make a real difference in the Irish energy sector. And that’s exactly what they did.
They recognised a gap in the energy upgrade market. At the time, the process of installing energy products was entirely offline and lacking the kind of customer experience needed when making such a long-term investment.
Their vision was to build Ireland’s first online store for energy upgrades and back it up with valuable customer experience. What followed was the creation of a brilliant team committed to making clean energy upgrades easier.
For eight years, Swyft Energy made the Rubicon Centre their home. They grew, adapted, and innovated, but more than that, they became a vital part of our community. Their team brought energy, collaboration, and a genuine community that enriched the Rubicon centre.
We’re incredibly proud to see them being acquired by Bord Gáis, a true testament to their hard work and success.
