Enterprise Start Programme

Enterprise Start Programme NOW RECRUITING FOR OCTOBER 2010

The EnterpriseSTART Programme delivers training and business advice to potential entrepreneurs to assist them in developing their business idea into a tangible business plan. The programme is usually run 3 times a year, over 6 weekends (Friday evening and Saturday morning) and offers a realistic market-place perspective on what is involved in creating a competitive and sustainable commercial enterprise.

The Programme will have a minumum of acedemic involvement with each topic brought to you by business people and entrepreneurs with specific expertise in starting and developing new businesses. Following this, participants are invited to partake in a Questions & Answers session.

EnterpriseSTART will help you make decisions regarding the feasibility of your idea and give insights into the essential elements involved in creating a new enterprise. At the end of the programme, each participant will be given the opportunity to present their business plan to a panel of experts. You will also obtain advice and support on where to look for further assistance in developing your business.

On completion of the programme approximately 80% will continue developing their business concept either on a part-time or full-time basis.

The EnterpriseSTART Programme is also used in company closure situations and a number of programmes have been completed where multi-national companies are faced with reducing their headcount.
